South Shore Rush, Saturday 23rd September

Push yourself and your crew to the limits on the Lambay Rowing Challenge 2023!

Considered one of the toughest open-sea rows in Europe, the Lambay Challenge is a physically demanding 19km sea row circumnavigating Lambay Island off the coast of North County Dublin.

From eight boats in its first year, to over 30 boats from Ireland, the USA, UK and the Netherlands in 2019, this thrilling row has acquired something of a cult following. But it's not the faint of heart…!

The challenge starts from the picturesque South Shore of Rush. Crews make their way to the North Cardinal Marker, around the back of the island, past the South Cardinal Mark, and back to the South Shore.
