Kayak Cross is new discipline that will debut at the Paris Olympic Games in 2024. At the Canoe Centre in Palmerstown they are home to the only Kayak Cross course and are delighted to announce their Winter Kayak Cross Series .
Four kayakers are pitted against each other and must negotiate launch ramps, slalom gates, rolling gates and white water in a bid to reign supreme!

They are hosting this one of kind event, at the Canoe Centre in Palmerstown from 16 November 2023. This is a 4 week race series with categories including male, female, junior and master level with live music and commentary every night of event and refreshments served. There will be an awards ceremony and presentation for each category on finals nights.

There is no other Kayak Cross in Ireland or opportunities for paddlers to take part in an event such as this.

Sandymount Dublin Night Run

The Sandymount Night Run 10KM or 5KM returns on March 11th, 2025. This unique Night Run events take place at 7:20pm on Tuesday the 11th and presents a great excuse to get out and clear the head with a midweek run! Sandymount is an ideal location being walking distance from the center of Dublin. And the course is laid out in long straight flat lines making it ‘racer’ friendly. There are two distances to suit all levels of fitness. A 5KM single lap or a 10KM double lap. Entries are limited so don’t leave it too late to enter! This is an annual SELL OUT race.
