IMMA after | Cló Collective, after Brian O’Doherty

This event has ended

IMMA, Sunday 5th August

First Brian O'Doherty, then Patrick Ireland, then Brian O'Doherty again – the highly storied Irish-born artist is the subject of IMMA After: Cló Collective, after Brian O'Doherty. Based in Dublin, this collective of five young artists have chosen to respond to IMMA Collection: Brian O'Doherty Language and Space and his personal practices. Though Cló specialises in fine print, there is a rich range of responses here, print or not. They are interactive and exploratory, yet deeply personal to each artist.

The event will open with a viewing of IMMA Collection: Brian O'Doherty Language and Space, guided by members of Cló. Afterwards, guests will be led to an event space in Studio 9, where the artworks created by members of Cló Collective are housed. Following this, complimentary refreshments will be provided. There will also be informal discussions and reflections on each person's experience.
