Dun Laoghaire Harbour, Thursday 23rd November
Join us for an evening of literary readings and discussions with local authors to celebrate the bicentenary of Dun Laoghaire Harbour. Longtime Dun Laoghaire residents Bernard Farrell, Julie Parsons and Declan Hughes will read from their own work, significant parts of which are set in the town.
They will then discuss their work and the ways in which it has been nourished by a sense of place and local context with moderator & local Historian Rob Goodbody. Guests will be invited to take part in a Question & Answer session at the end of the event.
