From Ireland to the Final Frontier: Entrepreneurs at the edge
This event has ended
Science Gallery Dublin, Thursday 16th August
The space industry generates an estimated €300 million each year for Irish companies. In this panel discussion, we ask about Ireland's contribution to the space race — and is there room to grow it even more? From innovative technology aboard the International Space Station to point of-care diagnostic technology used to assess the impact of space travel on the health of astronauts, we look at the companies who are making the leap toward space exploration and realising Ireland's potential in space. Introduction from Bryan Rodgers of Enterprise Ireland.
Presented in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland. Enterprise Ireland co-ordinates Ireland's industrial and research participation in the programmes of the European Space Agency. ESA promotes cooperation among European states in space research, technology and applications.
