George's Dock, Sunday 20th May

Féile na Gaeilge, a celebration of everything Irish, will take place on George’s Dock, Customs House Quay, on Sunday 20th May. Brought to you by Dublin City Council, this free family fun event offers a great day out for all ages – no matter their level of Irish.

A free event in the centre of Dublin, the day will offer a diverse range of activities and fun for the whole family. Visitors can find their rhythm at the bodhrán workshop hosted by Rossa Ó Snodaigh, learn traditional dancing and enjoy live musical performances from Cian MacGearailt. Witness live Irish story-telling and catch some Irish films on show at the event. Children can also enjoy the wide range of activities, including face painting, a vintage carousel, an art zone and a very special Fairy Q&A!

Dedicated to promoting Irish music, song, dance and language, Comhaltas, will be at the event to showcase the vibrant traditional Irish culture. Taking place directly beside the EPIC Museum, visitors will receive a discount to hear the more on the history of Ireland, while Bliain na Gaeilge will also be on site to discuss how you can rediscover your Irish and get involved in the year’s activities.

Féile na Gaeilge is brought to you by Dublin City Council and supported by Conradh na Gaeilge.
