EURO 2020 Qualifier: Rep. of Ireland v Gibraltar

This event has ended

Aviva Stadium, Monday 10th June

Republic of Ireland take on Gibraltar at Dublin's Aviva Stadium in EURO 2020 qualifying.

The game will mark a return to the Aviva Stadium for the Irish team, just four days after their Copenhagen clash with Denmark. Mick McCarthy marked the start of his second stint as Ireland manager with a 1-0 win against Gibraltar at the Victoria Stadium in March and followed that with a 1-0 home victory over Georgia.

The Ireland boss is looking forward to the Aviva Stadium return in June and said: “I was delighted to get the win in Gibraltar and now I look forward to playing them on a summer's night in Dublin. I loved the old Lansdowne Road as a player and as a manager so I was delighted the team marked my Aviva Stadium debut with a win there. The atmosphere against Georgia was something very special and I look forward to more of the same against Gibraltar in June.”
