EELS will return to Ireland this summer to play Iveagh Gardens on Friday 6th July.
EELS recently released their first studio album in four years, THE DECONSTRUCTION, performed by E, Koool G Murder and P-Boo with The Deconstruction Orchestra & Choir.
Mark Oliver Everett, the genius behind EELS is better known as simply E. In 1995 E started to work under the name EELS and the following year released the debut album, Beautiful Freak which included the striking U.S. number one alternative hit, Novocaine For The Soul as well as Susan's House, Rags To Rags and Your Lucky Day In Hell. This was followed two years later by the release of the late 90s rock classic Electro-Shock Blues which featured Cancer For The Cure. Over the next number of years EELS toured extensively and released more albums including, DAISIES OF THE GALAXY, SOULJACKER, SHOOTENANNY!, BLINKING LIGHTS AND OTHER REVELATIONS, HOMBRE LOBO, END TIMES, WONDERFUL, GLORIOUS and THE CAUTIONARY TALES OF MARK OLIVER EVERETT, EELS eleventh studio album which coincided with E commencing an ambitious fifty-three show world tour.
