IMMA, Friday 20th September - Sunday 22nd September

EARTH RISING is a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and climate action, set to take place from 20-22 September 2024. As the Earth crisis becomes increasingly urgent, EARTH RISING seeks to inspire collective action through creative expression, fostering a deep connection between individuals, communities, and our planet.

EARTH RISING is where art meets activism, offering visitors a unique opportunity to engage with the most pressing environmental issues of our time. Over the course of the weekend, EARTH RISING will present a diverse range of eco-themed exhibitions, workshops, outdoor screenings, and thought-provoking discussions that invite participants to reflect on their role in the global climate movement.

The festival line-up, to be fully announced in early September, promises to be an immersive environment where creativity and activism intersect. This year’s program is designed to inspire festivalgoers to think critically and creatively about how we can collectively respond to the environmental challenges of our time.

Join us at IMMA for EARTH RISING and be part of a transformative experience that aims to catalyse real change, both in Ireland and beyond.

Past becomes present and future loses all meaning other than endless repetition. Inside this rift, which at first appears safe, a group of women look everywhere for their lost motherhood. Coming to the Abbey Theatre for eight performances only, this powerful and determined performance
