Dún Laoghaire Storytelling Festival

Walters Dún Laoghaire, Friday 12th May - Sunday 14th May

A weekend of storytelling. Irish and International storytellers are coming to Dún Laoghaire to share their stories this May for the first year of Dún Laoghaire Storytelling Festival.
Ireland's very own, Aindrias De Staic’s shall share a riveting story about Cill Stuifin; a sunken island with a church where bells still toll underwater, that is said to rise out of Liscannor Bay from time to time.

Raphael Rodan from Israel asks the audience and casually adds “for me, these were the stories where God is the bad guy and women have no place but as a rib covering a man's lungs, the notorious stories of the Old Testament.”

Singer-songwriter Erik Sjøholm from Finland accompanies the stories in Whistler of Dreams with his magical singing.

And finally, there is a chance for you to join the festival too as there shall be a 3-day storytelling course where you can share you story to a live audience as part of the festival.
