The Digital Hub, Thursday 1st August
Developer Lunch & Learn format is undergoing a shake-up for the month of August. Instead of the usual talks, they're going to focus on collectively sharpening your problem solving skills. Amr Druid of Bizimply has chosen a selection of programming problems for you to try out. To get the most out of the session, it is recommended you attempt some of the problems before the Lunch & Learn. If you don't have the time to attempt them, that's cool too – feel free to turn up on the day, grab a sandwich and take a stab at them.
Here's the list of problems:
Attempt the problems and then submit your answer on Code Forces to see which ones you've solved correctly. You can work on these problems alone or in pairs. Code Forces supports a number of programming languages – Java, C++, Ruby, Python etc are all supported. If you find a problem easy, it's recommended you take the opportunity to solve it using an unfamiliar programming language or technique (e.g. functional programming or TDD).
Solve some programming challenges and take the opportunity to meet and chat with your fellow Digital Hub developers. Feel free to bring your own lunch or enjoy some sandwiches and drinks kindly provided by the Digital Hub.
