Danny O’Brien

Whelan's, Thursday 5th September

After a complete sell-out nationwide tour including a live special recording at Liberty Hall this year, the multi-award-winning Wicklovian comedian is back in Dublin with a nostalgia-packed high-energy stand-up show bringing the big laughs to Whelans for one night only this September!

O’ Brien has revisited all the simple joys of a late 80s/early 90s
Irish childhood (to find the undisputed winner!) and sought to find out if a simpler time was indeed a happier one?

Last year he toured all over the world, including a month-long tour around New Zealand, Canada & Newfoundland representing Ireland with various International TV appearances as well as several worldwide comedy festivals in Asia, Europe, the US, and a month of sell-out solo shows and rave reviews at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival!

(he also may or may not have accidentally killed two Tamagotchis along the way!)

He has previously toured nationally with John Colleary, Today FM’s Dermot & Dave, and he also opened for American comedian Bill Burr in front of over 8,000 people in Dublin’s 3Arena!

He is also a regular contributor on Irish Television and Radio.

As heard on: The Talking Bollocks Podcast, Those Conspiracy Guys Podcast, Shite Talk History Podcast and many more!
