Bursting onto the scene with his debut album, ‘Gotta Get Thru This’ (2002), Daniel Bedingfield achieved remarkable success, producing three UK number one hits including ‘James Dean’ and selling over 1.6 million copies. Beyond his music career, Bedingfield showcased his versatility as a judge on The X Factor New Zealand in 2013 and has made significant contributions to the theatre scene, acting in London’s West

End and writing for other prominent artists. Bedingfield first burst onto the scene in the early noughties with a string of hits including breakout single “Gotta Get Thru This” and follow-ups “If You’re Not The One” and “Never Gonna Leave Your Side”. His best-selling debut album peaked at Number 2 in the UK Albums Chart and has since sold over 4 million copies worldwide.

A prolific producer and songwriter as well as an artist in his own right, he has co-written tracks with the likes of Pixie Lott, SecondCity and American Idol finalist David Archuleta. In 2016 he appeared on the West End stage as The Artilleryman in Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds, and he has also starred as a judge on the first series of the New Zealand X Factor.
