Come and sing Messiah with Choir of the Earth

Exactly 281 years after its world premiere just a mile away, come and sing choruses from Handel's Messiah with Choir of the Earth in St Ann's Church, Dawson St. Practise the music with the fab online resources then join them to sing on Messiahversary!

Since 2020, Choir of the Earth has welcomed thousands of international singers to their digital choral courses. Now, for the first time, they are taking their choir room on the road, inviting absolutely everybody to come and sing with them a selection of choruses from Handel's Messiah!

You will receive fab digital resources to learn/practise the music online in advance. On the day, the inimitable conductor, Ben England, will lead you in workshops to rehearse a selection of choruses, with his characteristic charm, fun and inspirational musical direction, followed by an early evening concert.

The Dublin event is particularly special, taking place 281 years to the very day in 1742 when Handel premiered Messiah to the world less than a mile away!
