Dublin Food Co-op, Sunday 17th December
We're moving this party to a bigger boat! For a once-off Christmas extravaganza on Sunday 17th of December, we'll be bringing our chaotic choir of craic to The Market Hall of The Dublin Food Co-op on Newmarket Square in Dublin 8. It's right next door to Teeling's Whiskey Distillery on Newmarket Square – find it on the map here.
We want to fill the Hall of the Co-op with Christmas cheer by gathering Dublin's best worst singers together for a caterwauling Chrimbo that will celebrate the likes of East 17, Rudolph and Mariah Carey.
Tickets are €9 + booking fee online or they'll be available to buy on the door for €10. Buying tickets online will avoid disappointment on the night as we are likely to sell out. Doors will open at 7.30pm and we'll be singing by 8.30pm sharp. Prizes will be awarded to the most enthusiastic best worst singers.
We will be donating 100% of our ticket proceeds to The Jocelyn Blake Cancer Fund. Jocelyn is a great friend of the Sing Along Social who is currently receiving treatment in a ground-breaking clinic in Istanbul for a rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer. We want to help her, her family and her friends, by supporting Jocelyn's fundraising initiative to raise €100k by Christmas to cover the cost of her treatment at the Chemo Thermia Oncology Centre in Istanbul. She's nearly there and we want to sing her over the finish line of her fundraising goal! We need your voices to do this. You can find out more about Jocelyn on www.youcaring.com/jocelynblake.
If you can't attend the event but would still like to support Jocelyn, please donate directly via her YouCaring age at www.youcaring.com/jocelynblake.
