Enjoy a fun and engaging tour of Malahide Castle followed by a very unique whiskey tasting experience!

Immerse yourself in the history and rich decor of Malahide Castle followed by a special Whiskey Tasting Experience hosted by Whiskey Island expert John Callely.

We are delighted to welcome back our Whiskey Tasting Experience on Saturday evenings at 5pm. It’s the perfect way to start your evening in Malahide Village. Malahide Castle will offer this fun and informative comparative Whiskey Tasting Experience after immersing yourself in the grandeur and history of the main reception rooms and top floor of the castle. Sample and compare premium, craft Irish Whiskeys and learn about how Irish whiskey is different to Scotch and Bourbon Whiskey whilst learning about the history and journey of Irish Whiskey up to present day.

The tasting includes 5 premium Irish whiskeys from all over the island of Ireland, including the very local Lambay whiskey, matured on Lambay island, just 3 miles off the coast of Malahide.

The experience will last approx. 1hr 15 minutes. Online pre- booking is advised as there are just a limited number of places to ensure social distancing and an enjoyable quality experience for all.

Tickets need to be collected from the Visitor Centre at least 10 minutes before your booked time. Ticket holders must be over 18 and please note photo ID may be requested at ticket collection.
