Bray Choral Society-The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace

St Andrew's Parish Church, Saturday 24th May

Bray Choral Society is proud to announce our Gala Summer Concert, a special event marking our 40th season. To celebrate this milestone year, we are delighted to present two performances—one in our home of Bray, plus an additional concert in St Andrew’s Church in Dublin.

With Musical Director Frank Kelly at the helm, this year’s programme features Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, a powerful and evocative contemporary work that remains deeply relevant today. Alongside this, we will perform a selection of popular movements from a range of choral favourites, including Verdi’s Requiem and Orff’s Carmina Burana.

A World Debut:
We are especially honoured to present the world premiere of The Creation Song of the Choir of Light, an original composition by Howard Goodall, written specially for Bray Choral Society in celebration of our 40th season.
