Celebrating craft in all its forms, from traditional to contemporary, August Craft Month is for everyone. Immerse yourself in the wonderful visual and hands on experience of craft.

Highlighting the vibrant local craft scene right across the island of Ireland. August Craft Month provides unique opportunities for people to get involved to learn about, make, see, and buy craft!

During August Craft Month, various events, workshops, exhibitions, and activities take place right across the island of Ireland, showcasing the talents of local craft makers and artists.

Many of the events embody the important contribution that craft can make as a means of cultural and social progression.

Raising awareness about the importance of craft, encouraging participation, and supporting the growth of the craft sector. August Craft Month is a fantastic opportunity for the public to engage with and appreciate the skill behind handmade crafts, and for both established and emerging craft makers to showcase their work.
