The Grand Social, Friday 28th July

Audible Chocolate are the world’s greatest three-piece confectionery funk ensemble.

The band's music is rooted in their upbringing and the state that Ireland finds itself in today. It is fast paced and energetic, with everything grounded in whimsical, rich irony. The lyrical mastery of the band allows dark and light subjects to coexist harmoniously.

Audible Chocolate’s first EP, “Straight In, No Kissing”, was released on April 21st, containing the fan favourite “AmberThief”.

In 1995, Dempsey released his first EP 'Contender', and two years later, his first commercial single 'Dublin Town' which garnered him mainstream attention. It would be another three years before Dempsey would release his first album, 'They
