Are They Related – An evening with Patrick McLoughlin and Keego

This event has ended

The Dot Theatre, Friday 28th February

Patrick and Keego couldn’t be, could they? One all tweed jacket and leather elbows, the other, well shopping on TEMU while intoxicated. For the poster one demanded a Churchillian backdrop replete with bookcase and globe, the other, well, fairground barker on Coney Island. Thrown together by the Comedy Gods you are invited to an evening of delusion. Two blokes, machetes in hand, go deep into the mangroves, a journey of utter folly

*Keego didn't understand what Patrick said there…..

Patrick is an award winning comedian, winning the BEST NEW ACT award at the Bray Comedy festival 2023 and has performed all over Ireland. Consistently pleased with himself he took up comedy in 2019 and gigs regularly. London, New York, Peking, Mullingar, he’s shared the stage with the best comedians in the land.

But you be the judge; does he look like every guy your girlfriend tells you not to worry about? Come see the phenomenon for yourself!

Keego is a comedian from a far off land called 1981. Constantly trying to navigate 2025 with a brain that still operates on 2 channels, both of which turn off at midnight. Keego is wondering about the big questions like, what is the Irish Kama Sutra, why is it called bottomless brunch and why is Usain Bolt hailed for finishing in 9.58 seconds but when he does it, he is sent to the spare room.

Keego has performed all over the world, returning from a recent tour in NYC, Keego has rocked every stage he has set foot on.

This will be a night full of stories and craic with 2 of Ireland's best up and coming comedians. We have a theatre ready for you, a small bar to keep you hydrated and a very lax dress code
