Beirt pheiledóirí gaelacha iad Brian agus Cathal, agus tús á chur acu le séasúr nua leis an gclub áitiúil. Ach nuair phógann siad a chéile gan choinne tar éis an chuid chluiche, ní fada go dtuigtear dóibh go bhféadfadh an cor nua sa chaidreamh eatarthu teacht salach ar a saol sa spórt. Agus an séasúr ag leanúint ar aghaidh agus an caidreamh ag dul i ndoimhneacht, an féidir leo an fhírinne a insint don fhoireann? Scéal teacht in aois é An Chos Eile, agus scrúdú ar an aiteachas i spórt na bhfear.

Forbraíodh An Chos Eile faoin scéim Axis Assemble/Axis as Gaeilge 2020-2021, agus tá an léiriú seo á chur ar fáil le maoiniú ó Fhoras na Gaeilge.

Brian and Cathal are Gaelic footballers, about to start a new season with their local club. But when they kiss each other unexpectedly after their first game, they soon learn that this new twist in their relationship has the potential to collide with their identity as sportspeople. As the season continues and their relationship deepens, can they tell the team the truth? An Chos Eile is a coming-of-age story, and an examination of queerness in men’s sport.

An Chos Eile was developed under the Axis Assemble/Axis as Gaeilge programme 2020-2021, and this production is funded by Foras na Gaeilge.
