Children’s Books Ireland International Conference

Light House Cinema, Saturday 19th September - Sunday 20th September

The Children's Books Ireland International Conference is a weekend-long celebration of the very best in children's books, held every year in September.

Taking place in the Light House Cinema, Dublin, our conference invites speakers from across the world of children's books to address our network of artists, booksellers, librarians, teachers and children's books experts. Events include panels, discussions and talks, while coffee breaks and receptions provide opportunities for networking with key figures from the industry. Each conference centres around a theme, with speakers and attendees invited to reflect on and discuss key issues in contemporary children's books.

The Children's Books Ireland International Conference is taking place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September 2026. You can join us on either day or for the full weekend.
