Brigid’s Way Imbolc Pilgrimage from The Sanctuary in Dublin 7 to St Brigid's Well in Clondalkin on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd February.

Join us on Monday 2nd of February for our Brigid’s Way Imbolc Pilgrimage leaving from The Sanctuary in Dublin 7 and culminating with a fire and water ritual led by Dr. Karen Ward at St. Brigid's Well in Clondalkin Village.

Meet at The Sanctuary, Stanhope Street 9:00am •

Depart The Sanctuary walking @ 09:25am •

Along the route we will stop for the legends and lore of Brigid, Celtic Goddess & Matron Saint of Ireland from Dr Karen Ward, a co-rediscoverer of Brigid’s Way Celtic Pilgrimage. Stops at Smithfield, Croppies Acre, Phoenix Park, Kilmainham, Grand Canal at South Circular Road, Goldenbridge, 8th Lock Parkwest, Knockmitten Park.

St Brigid's Well, Boot Road Clondalkin 2:00pm – 3:00pm

All welcome to adjourn to Áras Chrónáin Cultural Centre in Clondaklin for soup, sandwiches and St Brigid's Cross Making.

Wear walking footwear and bring a light lunch to have along Grand Canal Greenway.

A day of free creativity for children and young people Ireland is the first, and only, country in the world to have a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people. The inaugural Cruinniú na nÓg took place on 23rd June 2018 and for the past number of years, including under exceptional circumstances in 2020, young people and families have come together to enjoy, a wide range of creative activities includin
