The Donabate Portrane Summer Festival is a community run family focused fun event, consisting of the following activities:

  • Funfair / Carnival,
  • Street Entertainment,
  • Sensory Evening for patrons with additional needs
  • Live music and dance featuring local acts and
  • professional acts (from various parts of Ireland)
  • Bingo,
  • Magic Show
  • Make your Kite
  • Novelty Races for kids & adults
  • Fireworks
  • Food & Drink Stalls
  • Craft Fair
  • Exotic Animals (Stall)

We also link in with Swim Ireland for their open water swimming event which takes place on the Sunday of our event.

The event runs over 3 days: Friday Evening August 7th, Saturday August 8th and Sunday August 9th 2026.
