Forge a Claddagh Ring

Silverworks, Saturday 1st February - Monday 3rd February

During the class you will discover the basics of jewellery making and learn how to make your own sterling silver Claddagh Ring. A Claddagh Ring is a traditional Irish ring in which a heart represents love, the crown stands for loyalty and the two clasped hands symbolize friendship. In the workshop you will begin with a Claddagh Ring strip and you will learn basic goldsmithing skills to transform this into a beautiful, made to measure Claddagh Ring that you will be proud to say you made yourself. You will get an insight into this incredible, ancient craft from a highly experienced goldsmith who works within the industry and has an abundance of jewellery making experience.

The Dublin Comic Arts Festival (DCAF)

The Complex

The Complex welcomes Dublin Comic Arts Festival (DCAF) back to The Depot for the fourth edition of their quarterly event in The Depot. The festival runs from 11am - 5pm on Sunday, November 30th. Expect 90+ artists selling comics, zines, art prints, stickers and more. A wide selection of comics will be provided by Little Deer Comics. Coffee and treats will be provided by Maidin Catering. The event will also feature special guests Tara O'Connor and Aoife Dooley and workshops by The Comics Lab. The event is easily accessible, a short walk from Jervis or Four Courts Luas stop and just at the
