Here ye, Queer ye! Fresh off their 5 star smash hit Boyfriends LemonSoap Productions presents their 7th production, Beards!

A farcical tale of hope and resilience, Beards by HK Ní Shioradáin, with book by Ultan Pringle, is a rollicking new musical comedy premiering this October at The New Theatre and taking us all the way back to the Middle Ages.

To avoid being burnt at the stake for being gay, medieval siblings Daryl and Erika marry each other’s lovers. When one of the lesbians falls pregnant via immaculate conception, both couples must battle their own conflicting feelings as they soon find out that they are about to co-parent the second coming of Christ.

LemonSoap are bringing together the musical talents of Sean Landau, Shane McCormick, Tierra Porter, and Orla Scally to star in this weird and wacky exploration of queer families, belonging, and a very special second coming. Tickets on sale now for this silly farce with a big heart.

Supported by Arts & Disability Ireland, The Arts Council of Ireland, The Pavilion Theatre, Rough Magic, Dublin Fringe and The New Theatre.
