Skerries Traditional Music Weekend commenced in 2001 and developed over the years into an action-packed weekend with Concerts, Recitals, Workshops, Sessions and Street Music. Come one, come all and be part of Skerries Traditional Music Weekend. Take a walk about the town and you'll be sure to hear many a great session! Some of Ireland's' top exponents of traditional music will showcase their talents in a more informal and natural setting. All musicians, singers, dancers and listeners welcome - players are welcome to join in the sessions over the weekend!

Ireland’s leading classical music competition, Feis Ceoil, returns from Saturday 7th to Sunday 15th June 2025 at All Hallows Campus, DCU, Grace Park Road, Drumcondra. Set up in 1896, Feis Ceoil Association promotes excellence in the learning and performance of music across all ages, levels and disciplines. We run an annual festival before Easter each year in Dublin which comprises almost 200 competitions, attracting over 5,000 participants from all over the island of Ireland. The Waterboys have been led by Scottish singer and guitarist Mike Scott since the 1980s and have evolved through countless line-ups, winning a fearsome concert reputation along the way. Their best-known songs include The Whole Of The Moon, How Long Will I Love You, This Is The Sea and Fisherman's Blues. Indisputably one of the best live bands in the world, the 2024 version of The Waterboys features double keyboard players Brother Paul from Memphis and James Hallawell from Cornwall, and is grounded by killer Irish rhythm section Aongus Ralston (bass) and Eamon Ferris (drums).
