Culture Date with Dublin 8 is a neighbourhood initiative, which aims to celebrate Dublin 8’s rich cultural, historical and architectural heritage while encouraging people who are living, working and visiting the area to explore what is on their doorstep. This collaborative project and programme of events aims to connect with and amplify the wider efforts being made to regenerate the area, highlighting all the great things there are to see and do in Dublin 8 to locals and visitors alike. This years event takes place from Wednesday 8th to Sunday 12th May.

Ranelagh Arts Festival is back from Thursday 9th to Monday 13th May. The festival has been running for 20 years and as a charity supports local community and the arts. The Festival works in partnership with many creative individuals and would not have happen without the generous support of many local businesses and the dedication of all those on the committee.

‘Bike Week’ is a celebration and promotion of the benefits of cycling and takes place from Saturday 11th May to Sunday 19th May. Cycling is one of the most sustainable forms of travel and a family friendly activity. As a transport option cycling has one of the lowest impacts on the planet and the environment, impacting positively on air and noise pollution. Events are happening across the county.
