LÁ NA CRUITE│HARP DAY takes place on Saturday 21 October, and continues into Sunday 22 October. Irish harpers extend a warm invitation to harpers globally to join them in person and online to celebrate this 1000-year-old Irish tradition.

This year’s event includes over 70 individual live and online events taking place in Ireland, and as far away as Brazil, Japan, Europe, the US and the UK. This year’s events span the entire week, Monday 16 October through Sunday 22 October, featuring a range of concerts, events, workshops etc. that will take place across Ireland.

Almost all of the events are free and include everything from meeting artist’s, trying your hand at harping, meeting new young harpers, and listening to sublime tunes on Ireland's National Instrument. Some event feature new commissions in Irish harp music.

Lá na Cruite │Harp Day 2023 shines a spotlight on harp music’s special ability to unite cultures and celebrate difference.
