From July 11 to July 15, 2023 as Ireland host Group A of the world premier women’s softball tournament right here in our own back yard of Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

Six teams (Ireland, World #1 USA, Great Britain, World #5 Australia, Chinese Taipei & Botswana) will take part in 19 games over 5 days as 2 teams try to punch their ticket to the medal round in Italy.

Ireland will host France at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday 8th March during the penultimate round of the 2025 Six Nations Championship. The Sandymount Night Run 10KM or 5KM returns on March 11th, 2025. This unique Night Run events take place at 7:20pm on Tuesday the 11th and presents a great excuse to get out and clear the head with a midweek run! Sandymount is an ideal location being walking distance from the center of Dublin. And the course is laid out in long straight flat lines making it ‘racer’ friendly. There are two distances to suit all levels of fitness. A 5KM single lap or a 10KM double lap. Entries are limited so don’t leave it too late to enter! This is an annual SELL OUT race.
