Croppies Acre Memorial Park, Wednesday 1st February
On the day we traditionally celebrate Goddess and Matron Saint of Ireland, Dr Karen Ward of Moon Mná Celtic Women's Circles will lead a mini pilgrimage in Phoenix Park, Dublin. This 5km walk meanders from the Anna Livia water sculpture in the Croppies' Acre Memorial Park (beside the Ashling Hotel by the Liffey quays) through the picturesque Phoenix Park as we look for the signs of early Spring at the Celtic Festival of Imbolg (Imbolc).
During this sauntering perambulation you will hear Brigid’s myths and legends, understand how they relate to your life as a modern woman and learn how to gift yourself a Brigid’s Water and Fire Blessing ritual. The pilgrimage costs a nominal €5.00 which will be donated to The Sanctuary Holistic Centre, Stanhope Street, Dublin 7. We meet at 10.30am and finish at 12.00pm. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Trained in the Celtic lineage and Druidic traditions, she co-founded and runs the Slí An Chroí School of Irish Celtic Shamanism with her husband John Cantwell.
