The conference will mark the launch of a new book, The League of Ireland: An Historical and Contemporary Assessement, published by Routledge. Edited by Conor Curran, it features original contributions on the history of Irish soccer from Julien Clenet, Conor Curran, Conor Heffernan, Joseph Taylor, Tom Hunt, Ken McCue, Cormac Moore, Michael Kielty, Gerry Farrell, Helena Byrne and Aaron Ó Maonaigh.
