We're gearing up for the Push Forward Festival at The New Theatre this December 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and we've love to have you come along! Featuring artists new and established, this is a festival you don't want to miss.

On the 1st of December we have the first day of Theatre shows at 6pm followed by a Comedy Night at 8pm!

The 2nd of December features another evening of shows and a screening of the new film Mount Trenchard afterwards.

And finally on the 3rd, we've got more new writing shows with a special Spoken Word/Poetry Night to close out the Festival!

The Cave

Abbey Theatre

The Cave is a world premiere production written by acclaimed writer Kevin Barry and directed by Abbey Theatre Artistic Director, Caitríona McLaughlin. The cast stars Aaron Monaghan, Judith Roddy and Tommy Tiernan. We meet the McRae brothers in a dead zone in the mountains of south county Sligo. Sleeping rough in a cave and in trouble with the law, Archie and Bopper are running out of road. This desperate pair have only each other to rely on as they try to restart their van, their lives and their WiFi connection. The Cave is an unforgettable black comedy from the pen of one of Ireland’
