Craft Value: Craftsmanship and its conservation in the architecture of Britain and Ireland (1660-1760) – Virtual Conference hosted by Trinity College Dublin.

Superlative historic craftsmanship in wood, stone and plaster is the subject of this one day virtual conference hosted by TCD. Convened by CRAFTVALUE, the Irish Research Council Advanced Laureate project in TCD's Department of History of Art and Architecture, it explores the intersection between research and practice in conserving and documenting craft in the architecture of Britain and Ireland (1660-1760).

Bringing together speakers from leading academic institutions, heritage organisations and craft industry professionals from across Ireland, Britain and the US, the conference seeks to develop an understanding of historic craft skills and cutting-edge conservation techniques, and to highlight exciting new directions in architectural history.
