EPIC Explorers Imagination Camp – Virtual Summer Camps by EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum.

Travel the world and outer space alongside famous Irish diaspora figures such as explorer Ernest Shackleton, astronaut Neil Armstrong and notorious pirate Anne Bonny in this summer camp suitable for the whole family. Delivered via Zoom, children will be introduced to the history behind exploration and travel, before being encouraged to use their ingenuity to complete tasks such as making their own boat, designing the surface of the moon, and discovering animal tracks, all out of whatever materials and objects they can find at home! The summer camp is supported by a range of online ‘history-at-home' resource packs.

August Summer Camp runs for 1 full week, with a 1.5 hour workshop each day and 1.5 hours online support with activities.
