Mini Gigs at Mick's – Series 5 ft. Valerie June, Wallis Bird, John Spillane, Steve Wall and Slow Moving Clouds.

Since the beginning of lockdown, Cork singer-songwriter Mick Flannery, in partnership with PlayIrish, have been hosting a popular online concert showcase, Mini Gigs at Mick's, where friends of Flannery takeover his Facebook and Instagram platforms. Series 5, which begins Tuesday 5th May with a live performance from American singer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Memphis, Tennessee: Valerie June. Mick says: “Valerie June has been exceptionally kind to me over the last few years. I owe a lot of great new experiences in different places to her. Valerie is an inspiring performer and a great human.”

The showcase continues every other night, with: Wexford singer songwriter Wallis Bird Thursday 7th May, Cork troubadour John Spillane Saturday 9th May, multi-platinum selling musician Steve Wall (The Walls, The Stunning) Monday 11th May, and Dublin based post-folk band Slow Moving Clouds Wednesday 13th May.
