Dabbledoo Music: Build your Own Instrument Music Workshops
Ticket Prices: €7.50
Date/Times: Mon 27th & Tues 28th Jan at 10am, 11.30am & 1pm in the Main Auditorium.
As part of the Mill Theatre's STEAM Festival, this workshop will give you the opportunity to build a musical instrument, then use it to perform music together as a musical ensemble! Donegal-based instrument builder Ed Devane will guide you through the assembly of a unique musical instrument, capable of making a wide variety of sounds. This will be followed by a music-making session with Killian Redmond from DabbledooMusic. Guided by a range of animated and colour-coded musical scores, Killian will instruct you how to play your instrument as part of a large group. Suitable for ages 6-12. All materials provided and no previous experience required.
