Dublin Sportsfest 2019 – Dublin City Sport & Wellbeing Partnership host a week-long celebration of sport and physical activity in our city.

Increasing participation in sport and physical activity across all sectors in society remains fundamental to DCSWP's over-arching goal. Dublin Sportsfest 2019 reflects this vision – themed activities range from women's wellbeing and young people to disability groups, family groups, school children and older adults. The DCSWP's role in supporting club development also plays a huge role during the week: The Grow Your Club Club Development Seminar will be a highlight event offering local clubs expert advice and guidance from key note speakers. They will also be linking in with pre-existing events and initiatives such as the Great Dublin Bike Ride.

Sportsfest 2019 caters for every citizen of Dublin and the goal is to get as many people taking part as possible! There are two main ways that you, your family and friends can take part during the week:

  • Register for one of the open events here.
  • If you would like to take part in any of the closed events or get involved with any of the DCSWP programs in the long term, simply contact your Local Sports Officer who will guide you through the process.

The festival has grown every year since, and last year we had over 12,000 WellFesters in attendance. 2024 is looking to be our biggest and best year yet. There are tonnes of
