Dublin City Council Sportsfest

TU Dublin, Grangegorman, Saturday 26th September

Dublin City Council SportsFest 2026 is its biggest-ever, celebrating 10 years of promoting sport, physical activity, and community wellbeing across Dublin city.

Visitors can look forward to a fun-filled day of FREE sporting activities, demonstrations, and family entertainment, with opportunities to try everything from NFL football, basketball, GAA, soccer, rugby, and athletics to rock climbing, boxing, parkour, ultimate frisbee and tug-of-war. There will also be dance workshops, fitness classes and yoga sessions, alongside dedicated neurodiverse activities, age-friendly sports, and free face painting. There is something for everyone!

FREE Piano performances live and outdoor in Dublin City. Experience wonderful piano performances featuring baroque, classical, romantic, contemporary and minimalist music in the heart of Dublin. Immerse yourself in solo and four hand performances, as talented young pianists transform the sound of the city from 1pm on Thursday 17 September and Saturday 19 September.
