Dublin’s leading art galleries have come together to launch a new flagship event in the cultural calendar, Dublin Gallery Weekend. This three-day annual event celebrates Dublin’s contemporary art scene, showcasing the vibrancy of the capital’s galleries through exhibitions and specially programmed events. The inaugural edition of Dublin Gallery Weekend will take place from 10–12 November, inviting art enthusiasts and newcomers alike to embark on a journey through the city’s vibrant art scene.

Dublin Gallery Weekend promises to be a fun and engaging weekend of art, with a rich public programme of artist talks, performances, late openings and social events. Free to attend and open to all, these events will expand upon a diverse array of exhibitions from leading Irish and international artists including Callum Innes, Richard Gorman, Richard Proffitt, Laurence Riddell, John Doherty, Eilis O’Connell and Scott Lyall, as well as themed group exhibitions featuring Irish and international artists.

Visitors will also have the chance to participate in guided tours of exhibitions led by curators, artists and gallerists, unveiling the stories behind each artwork.
