Harold's Cross, Saturday 23rd May - Sunday 24th May
The Harold’s Cross Festival (HX Festival) is a much-loved annual community event held each May in Harold’s Cross Park.
Organised by the Harold’s Cross Village Community Council—made up of local volunteers and residents—the festival celebrates community spirit, creativity, and wellbeing.
The festival is funded by Dublin City Council and supported by a wide network of local partners, including the Harold’s Cross Business Association, Terenure and Rathmines Gardaí, Civil Defence, the Defence Forces, and local artists, musicians, historians, writers, photographers, and businesses.
HX Festival is family-focused and promotes positive, healthy living, with a different theme each year. The 2026 theme is “Living Well Together.”
The main festival takes place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May 2026, with additional satellite events running throughout the week (Monday to Friday) at Harold’s Cross Community Centre.
