Max Zaska is pulling out all the stops for the launch of his third ZASKA album, NECTAR, at the Grand Social in Dublin on Friday, June 19th. The NECTAR album launch show will feature 8 special guest vocalists: Mik Pyro, shiv, Melina Malolne, Jess Kav, Tolü Makay, J Smith, Jamel Franklin, and Danny Groenland, backed by a 7-piece band for a fusion of neo-soul, R&B, hip-hop, and jazz. Support is from Dublin nu-jazz group Oceanna. Tickets are available now from zaskamusic.com.
With a reputation for incredible live shows, the NECTAR album launch is ZASKA’s first headline show in Dublin since 2024 and promises to deliver groove-driven good vibes.
NECTAR, was released to streaming platforms on June 5th. The album features collaborations with Mik Pyro, shiv, Melina Malone, Gemma Dunleavy, jarjarjr, and J Smith and is a fusion of neo-soul, R&B, hip-hop, and jazz. NECTAR is currently on Apple Music’s R&B/Soul charts in Ireland, Japan, and the Netherlands, while the feature track, Dust (feat. shiv & Gemma Dunleavy) is on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist in the UK and UAE, and on rotation on RTÉ 2FM.
