UXDX – Build the right product, faster, together. The conference that bridges the gap between UX, UI, Dev and Product.

It takes a community to rethink how we build software. In the interest of promoting continuous learning for attendees, UXDX continues to expand their community events all over the world. Attendees use this as an opportunity to touch base on their progress throughout the year, to get the wider team involved in the conversation, or to visit other cities and learn from new areas. Events are centred around the UXDX model which integrates UX into the Development loop by breaking down the barriers between development, design and research teams.

How does it work? The biggest risk with transitioning from projects to product is to keep treating the team in the same way; feeding them a list of features to develop. This limits alignment, wastes the talent within the team and creates a culture of avoidance of accountability for outcomes – “I did what I was told”. Instead, teams need to be assigned particular outcomes that they should achieve, driven by the business priorities.
