As part of #greenweek TU Dublin will host a FinBiz #Sustainability Webinar on Wednesday 10th March 2021 at 2.30pm. This webinar is open to anyone wishing to understand more about the impact of sustainability on businesses.

At this session you will hear from:

Susan Rossney (Chartered Accountants Ireland) – Public Policy Officer with Chartered Accountants Ireland, Chair of the Institute’s Expert Working Group on Sustainability and member of the Sustainability Expert Working Group of the Global Accounting Alliance.

Aine Martin (HR Purchasing and Green Manager Hotel Doolin – Áine Martin is HR, Purchasing and Green Manager at Hotel Doolin, Ireland’s first and only certified carbon neutral hotel. She won IHI (Irish Hospitality Institute) Environmental and Facilities Manager of the Year 2019.  Hotel Doolin has won many awards including Best Green Medium Sized Organisation of the Year 2018 & 2019, Chambers Ireland CSR Award 2019.  Áine is a Board Member on the Burren Eco Tourism Network which won the Lonely Planet Award “Best in Community Award 2021.

Alan McInerney (Adobe) – In his previous role as a Manager with PwC Alan worked with some of Ireland’s leading companies assisting them to build out sustainability policies, best practices and their sustainability reporting. This included helping companies introduce the UN Sustainable Development Goals and other sustainability frameworks to their business. Alan recently started work with Adobe as a Risk Consultant with one of his main focuses to help assess and manage sustainability risk across Adobe’s supplier base.

Brian O’ Kennedy (CEO Clearstreams Solutions) – CEO of Clearstream Solutions, a leading independent carbon management and corporate sustainability consultancy which he founded in 2009. Clearstream helps many local and international companies to measure and report responsible business practices in their organisations, products and supply chains. A passionate believer in the positive impact business can have on sustainability, Brian has over 20 years’ senior leadership experience in global supply chain management and procurement, particularly in the areas of IT, Media, Print and Packaging. Having held various leadership roles across industry, Brian has served as Chair of the CDP Ireland Network, the global carbon reporting program, and is also a member of Steering Committee of the global Responsible Sourcing standard, Verego SRS. He has a degree in Economics from Trinity College, a Certificate in Sustainable Management from BSI Group and is currently studying Circular Economy at TU Delft.
