For the past sixty-four years there has always been one constant during the festive season and that is The Moving Crib at 42 Parnell Square West, Dublin 1 opening its doors in the run up to Christmas. This year has been filled with uncertainty but a visit to this wonderful traditional gemwill inject a splash of joy and Christmas spirit into 2020.
Doors open from the 1st December -10 th January (restrictions permitting).
Entry is still FREE but new restrictions will be in place to adhere to government guidelines. Numbers is the Moving Crib will also be limited at any one time so this year booking is essential.
The Moving Crib has been a key feature of Christmas in Dublin for so long that parents and grandparents from around Ireland, who visited The Moving Crib as children, are now bringing their children and grandchildren to enjoy and re-live this amazing Christmas experience. The timeless charm of the Moving Crib lives on and has become a nostalgic centrepiece of the Christmas season for many. Enjoy a medley of Biblical, historical and fun stories, competitions, an illusion wall all wrapped up in a blanket of Christmas magic. It is guaranteed festive fun for all ages!

(Open until 3pm on Christmas Eve and 4pm New Year’s Eve.)
