The Bohemian Cooperative is delighted to announce the full programme for the 2026 Bohemian Environmental Justice Film Festival (BEFF). An initiative of Bohemian Football Club, based in Phibsborough on Dublin’s northside, the community- and volunteer-led festival will take place over three days from 5-7 February 2026.
The 2026 programme features a wide range of feature films, documentaries and family screenings, alongside panel discussions and conversations designed to deepen public understanding of the environmental injustices faced by communities in Ireland and around the world.
Delivered by the Bohemian Cooperatives – an initiative emerging from Bohemian Football Club – the festival forms part of a broader effort to help communities not only understand the climate crisis, but to find ways to act collectively in response.
Founded in 2022, BEFF has hosted screenings across venues including Dalymount Park, the Lighthouse Cinema and the Irish Film Institute. The festival centres the human stories behind the climate crisis, foregrounding lived experience, resistance and solidarity.
Dan Lambert, Chief Commercial Officers of Bohemian Football Club said:
“As a football club rooted in community, we believe sport can be a powerful platform for connection and change. Hosting BEFF reflects who we are as a club—community-driven and socially conscious—and our belief that football has a role to play in shaping a fairer, more just future.”
