Trinity College Dublin, Monday 26th June

Following their sold-out show in 3Olympia in 2022, Texas have announced a headline Dublin show at Trinity Summer Series at Trinity College, Dublin on Monday 26 June 2023.
Inspired by the Wim Wenders classic , ‘Paris, Texas’ , the band were formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1987 by singer Sharleen Spiteri and bassist Johnny McElhone and had a global hit with their debut single, “ I Don’t Want A Lover’ in 1989.

To date, the band have sold over 40 million albums. “Hi” is the 10th album from the band and was released on May 28th 2021. It includes the singles ‘Hi’ (feat Wu Tang Clan) and ‘Mr Haze’.

Caitlín Nic Gabhann three-time All-Ireland champion on Concertina has performed all around the world including the Cork Opera House and The National Concert Hall. She has toured the world with Riverdance and has performed with the RTÉ Vanbrugh Quartet and Liam Ó Maonlaí. Recently she performed at the Royal Albert Hall, as a guest of President Michael D. Higgins. Her debut release, "Caitlín" was voted ‘CD of the Year’ award by tradconnect.com as well as the ‘top Irish traditional album of 2012’ by The Wall Street Journal.
