SHARECITY 2020: Sustainability of food sharing

This event has ended

Online, Tuesday 22nd September - Thursday 24th September

Join us to hear the findings of our food sharing research and our future plans. Listen to presentations from SHARECITY team members past and present and get involved in conversations with leading academics and practitioners about sharing and sustainable urban food.

The virtual event will run over 3 half days. Each day will focus on a different phase of SHARECITY:

Day 1 presents our mapping activities, the development of the SHARECITY100 Database and the in-depth research that helped us identify food sharing activities in various case study cities.

Day 2 focuses on the impacts of sharing and presents our novel SHARE-IT Sustainability Impact Assessment Tool.

Day 3 considers the implications of our work for the future of food sharing and sharing more broadly.

We are also delighted to announce three amazing and internationally renowned keynote speakers who will respond to our findings at the end of each day: Prof. Julian Agyeman, Dr Ana Moragues Faus, and Prof. Oksana Mont.

Join us for a LIVE Q&A Panel with all the keynote speakers on the third and final day of the conference (24th September 2020).
