September Lecture Series: Art and Architecture of Ireland – Christ Church Cathedral Dublin will hold four lunchtime lectures in the music room on Fridays, September 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th.
The series will look at recent research on the cathedral in the fields of art and architecture, music and biography as published in a number of 21st-century encyclopedias and dictionaries, as well Wikipedia itself. The lecturers will include:
- Rachel Moss of Trinity College Dublin – Art and Architecture of Ireland
- Kerry Houston of the Technological University Dublin – Encyclopedia of Music in Ireland
- Terry Clavin of the Royal Irish Academy – Dictionary of Irish Biography
- Rebecca O'Neill of Wikimedia Community Ireland – Wikipedia
