RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra: New Year Gala – Welcome in the New Year in style with ravishing music and songs from the concert hall and operatic stage together with a be-jewelled splash of Viennese ballroom glamour.

Rumon Gamba, one of today's most dazzling conductors, leads the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra tenor Atalla Ayan (“a find… with a quality that calls to mind the young Plácido Domingo”New York Times, and “force of nature”Sunday Times), along with Wexford Festival Opera 2019 star, soprano Máire Flavin.

Featuring music by Bizet, Puccini, Verdi, Catalani, Lehár and Johann Strauss II, favourite arias from Carmen, La bohème, La traviata and La Wally and a complimentary glass of bubbly at the appropriate juncture, this concert is one which will set 2020 off very nicely indeed.
