Public Warning

The Workman's Club, Saturday 19th April

Public Warning is a four piece indie-rock band from Ashbourne, Co. Meath. Formed in 2015 when lifelong friends Adam O’Dea (Vocals), JP Roche (Guitar), Robbie Szpara (Bass) and Mark Tuite (Tambourine) came together in a bid to impress girls. From humble beginnings playing covers at school talent shows and local events, they soon discovered their own sound and began writing and recording their own original music. As they matured, so did their sound. Adam’s powerful vocals pushing their clever lyricism over JP’s driving guitars, with Robbie and Mark’s tight, decisive rhythm tying it all together. Public Warning’s growth can be seen through their music, their releases to date stemming from experiences they shared throughout their youth. Their 9 years of experience together shines through particularly in their live shows, a meticulously perfected performance, alongside phenomenally endearing crowd work, culminating in loyal fans and casual listeners alike unable to resist jumping to the beat.

Irish Roulette 1.0

The Grand Social

On Tuesday, 29 September 2026, five of Dublin's hottest up-and-coming acts, Soft Rules, SAOL, The Psychs, Conor Kinsella, and Punter, will take the stage for Irish Roulette, a one-night event where the running order isn't set backstage; it's set on a spinning wheel, by an audience member, live, in front of everyone. Here's how it works: all five names go up on the wheel. Through the night, punters get pulled up on stage to give it a spin, and whoever it lands on plays next. Nobody, not the bands, not the promoters, not the audience, knows the lineup until it's happening in real time.
